Remember to tell them in advance if you know that wardrobes or beds etc. will not fit through the door and will need to be taken in through the window. If you decide to do the move yourself and hire a van same principals apply make sure you know exactly what you are taking with you so that you can be sure what size van is needed. Check with the hire company what times you will have the van, you do not want to be worrying about having enough time to take the van back on top of the stress of your move. Make sure you have enough available and willing family & friends to help.
